Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
